Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - ExPats in Vallarta, a totally social group with informal fellowship and assistance for Expat residents or visitors living, working or investing around Vallarta or considering it, has announced this month's schedule of events.
Join them for a couple cool ones and some of Langostino's great food. Getting out is great therapy for everyone. If you are a first-timer let them know and they will introduce you to other ExPats living in the Banderas Bay area.
To make reservations for the Expats in Vallarta Happy Hours, please visit their website - ExpatsInVallarta.com - or send an email to sarajwise45(at)gmail.com. They need to give Langostinos a head count, so please be sure to note how many people are in your party.
Then, on Tuesday October 28th at 10 am there will be a Neighborhood Coffee at the Starbucks in Marina Vallarta. No reservations are required for this event.
The Expats are now scheduling Wine and Appetizer evenings for the upcoming season, and they're looking for people who would like to host an evening for 30 to 45 people in their home or condo. Expat Wine and Appetizer evenings will be held on most Friday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm starting in November and going through May.
It is very simple and fun to host an evening. All you need to supply are:
• Paper plates
• Plastic silverware, knives and forks
• Napkins
• Plastic wine glasses
• Ice
• Wine bottle openers
It is not necessary to have a huge home or condo. Everyone always has had a great time and there have never been spills or damage. This is a unique opportunity for people to get out and meet other ExPats in a smaller group setting where visiting and meeting new people is easy. The guests will bring an appetizer / or hot dish or desserts to share with approximately 30-45 people and also their wine or beverage of choice.
Sara will handle all the reservations and let the host know exactly how many to plan for and will supply a list of those attending for security to the host / hostess. Your exact location will only be sent out at the last minute to attendees.
If you are interested in hosting an evening contact Sara at sarajwise45(at)gmail.com. immediately so that you can get on the calendar before it fills up and she can answer any questions that you might have.
