Update: The final two days of the 2014 Hardwood Tournament of Hope were cancelled due to an unspecified facility conflict. UTEP, Kansas State, LSU, and Santa Clara were all originally slated to play three games in three days - November 25th - 27th - but the aforementioned scheduling conflict at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center ultimately forced the cancellation of the remainder of the tournament.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Basketball organizers Plan BC3 and the National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation have teamed up once again and are excited to announce the field for the 2014 Hardwood Tournament of Hope in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
This great classic will consist of four leading women’s teams competing at the state of the art Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center. The field will consist of the following leading institutions women’s basketball programs: Santa Clara University, Louisiana State University, Kansas State University, and University of Texas El Paso.
Games will be played on November 25th, 26th and 27th, and the official game schedule with dates and times can be found here. This will be the third year this exciting event is being held in Puerto Vallarta.
This prestigious event raises awareness, support, and money for research for The National Urea Cycle Disorders Foundation. The vision, direction, and leadership of this great event are provided by Plan BC3.
