Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - On December 5th & 6th, Garbo Piano Bar and The Swedes Bar & Bistro welcomed members of the Puerto Vallarta Men's Choir and students from Colonia Volcanes to sing Christmas Carols at Pulpito Plaza.
Located 45 minutes from Puerto Vallarta, Colonia Volcanes is an extremely low-income area where students have the opportunity to learn English and computer skill thanks to the Volcanes Community Education Project. This non-profit program strives to break the cycle of poverty through education.
The Pulpito Plaza beautification project is progressing well and the streets were full of excitement as we listened to this bilingual Christmas and Benefit show. Many took the opportunity to give to the "Support An Angel" Project, or to buy one of the hand-made Christmas angel ornaments that were available for sale with proceeds benefitting the Volcanes Community Education Project.
The students will repeat this show on December 17th at 7:00 pm at Pulpito Plaza. Come listen on your way to dinner - the event is free and open to the public - and buy your own angel to support these great and deserving kids!GAY PV is Mexico's gay magazine and travel guide for Puerto Vallarta, Mexico's #1 Gay destination.
