Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Warren Brander, Boardwalk Realty real estate agent, and Michael Green and John Swanson, Boardwalk Realty owners, today announced a joint commitment to support Corazon de Niña, a Vallarta safe home for girls and boys and Colina Spay and Neuter Clinic, an institution making the lives of animals in Puerto Vallarta a lot better.
"The Puerto Vallarta community is very important to my family and to me. We are grateful for the warmth and friendliness the people of PV have shown us, and would like to show that we care, by giving something back," says Warren. "We are very fortunate to live here in Vallarta and it's our privilege to do our bit for these outstanding organizations."
"When Warren came to us with this idea for ongoing, and significant, financial support for the Colina Spay and Neuter Clinic we were absolutely thrilled. This support will go a long way in helping us continue to care for the hundreds of animals in need that come through our doors every year," says Colette Zarry, co-founder of the Colina Spay and Neuter Clinic and owner of Lagostinos.
"This commitment on behalf of Warren at Boardwalk Realty will make a remarkable difference in the support that we are able to provide to youth in need at Corazón de Niña. It certainly opens up new doors for us and will help extend our reach in the community," says Melissa Canez, Director, Corazón de Niña. "If you're thinking about buying or selling real estate in Puerto Vallarta, please speak with Warren. That way we all win."
When you are ready to buy or sell property in the greater Banderas Bay area, contact Warren Brander at (322) 224-0014 or Warren(at)BoardwalkRealtyPV.com, and mention your charitable affiliation. Let's make the lives of these children and animals all that much better. Working together, we can make a difference.
About the People and Organizations Involved:
Corazón de Niña provides a safe home for girls and boys who have been removed from their home due to unstable living conditions. Rather than housing them in an institutional setting, Corazón de Niña provides a real home with house parents. Counseling, education and long-term support are top priorities of the home. It is the only home for girls and now boys over the age of 12 in Vallarta. 100% of all funds collected go directly to the children. They receive no support from the government and rely solely on private donations.
Colina Spay and Neuter Clinic is a permanent facility in Old Town/Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta, providing spaying and neutering services for cats and dogs. Services are offered free to those who otherwise would be unable to get their pets neutered. Colette, the owner of Langostinos Restaurant, in March of 2012 opened Vallarta's first stationary, free animal spay and neuter clinic.
Warren Brander and his partner Greg, both natives of Canada, have always been big supporters of charities and organizations that help children and dogs. Having two young adopted children and two dogs (one a local rescue), they quickly realized they don't have the mental or physical capacity to take on any more children or dogs in their life but that they can still financially help these organizations they care so much about here in their now hometown, Puerto Vallarta.
Boardwalk Realty is co-owned by Michael Green and John Swanson who, with many years in local real estate services, also have a real desire to help make Vallarta all it can be. Boardwalk Realty is a strong supporter of charitable causes throughout the greater Puerto Vallarta area.
