Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - If you haven't been to the ACT II Entertainment complex recently, you don't know what you're missing! This Spring, there's a full line-up of theater, music, and entertainment going on in The Red Room Cabaret, on the Main Stage, and in the Encore Piano Bar.

'Forever Plaid' - Extended By Popular Demand

Forever Plaid, the heavenly musical hit has taken Vallarta by storm. What happens when you take four of the most handsome, talented men who sing like angels and put them on a stage? 'Forever Plaid' happens. If you think you have seen Forever Plaid before, You have never seen it like this.

Featuring such hits as Sixteen Tons, Chain Gang, Three Coins in the Fountain, Perfidia, Cry, Catch a Falling Star, Day-O, Gotta Be This or That, Matilda, and Heart and Soul, you'll be humming along with the great nostalgic pop hits of the 1950's and rollin' in the aisles from the delightful patter of the original clean-cut boy band - The Plaids.

The Plaids get a chance to look back at their lives, and they discover that they didn't just have wonderful lives; their lives were wonderful, because they lived them together. Together they can achieve the unimaginable, the unexplainable.

The last performance of 'Forever Plaid' was scheduled for April 4th, but as it continues to break all box office records with sold out shows, encore performances have been added on April 9, 14 and 21 at 7:00 pm.

'The Voice of Vallarta' - Grand Final

After 18 weeks of competition, The Voice of Vallarta comes to an end. Join us on the last show of the season as the top two along with past contestants do a tribute to Marilyn Monroe and sing songs from Bombshell the Marilyn Monroe musical made famous in the hit TV show Smash.

Fighting it out for the TOP spot and a recording contact are Ana Adame and Daniela Vargas.

The closing show will be more of a concert with one score at the end. Many past contestants, judges, and host Juan Pablo Hernandez will take the stage in song for this iconic closing concert.

One thing is sure, this show is hotter than ever! The Voice is down to the top two and who takes home the contract nobody knows. Join us this last Sunday, April 12th, at 8 pm for Vallarta's favorite show, 'The Voice Of Vallarta.'

Elviz Martinez - 'Come Fly Away'

Local performer and co-star of the smash hit Forever Plaid, Elviz Martinez, opened his new show, "An Evening with Elviz Martinez, Come Fly Away," on April 1st to a sold out house in the Red Room Cabaret. With Musical Director Bob Bruneau at the piano, will be performing two more shows this month, April 10 and 17 at 7:30 pm. Elviz has been entertaining standing room only crowds at Act II since his debut last year, so get your tickets TODAY!

Paul Fracassi - 'Legends of the 50's and 60's'

Canadian Idol finalist Paul Fracassi, who has made himself famous in Puerto Vallarta performing his Walk Like a Man tribute to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons in the Red Room, brings an all new show, Legends of the 50's and 60's, to the Main Stage.

For three performances only, Paul will curl his lip and flip his collar once again to relive the 50's and 60's through the music of Elvis Presley, Frankie Valli, Frank Sinatra, Davy Jones, Buddy Holly, Bobby Darin and more!

Fracassi's Legends of the 50's and 60's show will open on April 11th in the Main Stage Theater, with two added shows on April 15th & 18th at 7:00 pm.

Joan Houston - 'All That Jazz'

Joan Houston, a native of Seattle, Washington, has traveled to all parts of the world performing her music and captivating audiences in true family style. Joan has lived in Vallarta for nearly 4 years, and made her PV acting debut as "Jewel" in The Boutique Theater's production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

She has since appeared as "Magenta" in The Rocky Horror Show and, to her surprise, was cast in the Olivia Newton-John role of "Bitsy" in Sordid Lives - both Act II productions. All That Jazz is her first ever Cabaret show, and she'll be bringing it to The Red Room Cabaret on April 11th, 18th & 25th at 7:30 pm. With musical director Bob Bruneau at the piano, this will be a fabulous show!

'Dress Rehearsal' - An Exciting New Cabaret Show

Dress Rehearsal, an exciting new cabaret show directed by Nina Janik, will premier in The Red Room Cabaret on April 17th. Featuring Michael Gibney, Eduardo Rocha, Kharla Barrigan and Mary Jo Nelson, 'Dress Rehearsal' tells the story of four actors who show up for the final dress rehearsal of a world premiere musical and... oops! ...the music and costumes are nowhere to be found. Come join them for an evening of improv and song from their shows of past performances. Who knows? Maybe a new play will be born out of the mess.

'Bob's Karaoke Party' - Returns to Encore Piano Bar

What better place to sharpen your vocal skills.... Act II Entertainment brings its popular weekly Karaoke Party back to the Encore Piano Bar on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm. Join us each week with your hosts, David and Carol, and of course our favorite singer, Bob Hirsch, husband to famous local actress, Patti Hirsch. Remember, Happy hour is served from 6:00-8:00 pm, so come early for our 2x1 cocktails.

'Forever Elvis' - Moves to a New Night

Rob Knight's Forever Elvis show provides an opportunity to travel back in time to enjoy the music from Elvis' career. Rob most enjoys singing the songs of the powerful 1968 Comeback TV Special and the unforgettable Aloha and Las Vegas Concerts. There will never be another Elvis, but as an Elvis Tribute Artist Rob is honored to pay tribute to the most significant entertainer of all time - The King of Rock & Roll, Elvis Presley - every Thursday at 7:30 pm in The Red Room.
