Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Orchestra School of Puerto Vallarta (OEPV) is pleased to announce that Puerto Vallarta will host an Orchestral Conference from May 11 to 17, 2015.

With the firm intention to continue spreading the musical culture, the 1st Edition of the Orchestral Conference, under the direction of the OEPV, is intended as a starting point to help promote music education for symphonic musicians in Puerto Vallarta and areas surrounding Banderas Bay.

The Orchestra Conference's aim is to share the tools and working methods that will help young musicians in their musical training at a professional level. In order to raise the quality of music and inspire future generations of musicians, participants will have the opportunity to attend workshops, master classes, orchestra practices and round table discussions. Morning sessions will be based in the OEPV facilities and afternoon activities will be in the CUC Auditorium.

Special guests include members of the "More Music, More Love" project, whose main objective is to provide young aspiring musicians who do not have the resources for education with the tools and instruments for musical training and development.

Here in Puerto Vallarta, "More Music, More Love" seeks to diffuse the virtues of music and what can be achieved through it; in addition to providing mechanisms that will help our young musicians be leaders in their own development.
