Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The annual dining extravaganza, Vallarta Restaurant Week, offers everyone the opportunity to sample delicious food at a multitude of Banderas Bay area restaurants for a special price.

This is the eleventh year for the event and Daiquiri Dick's Restaurant has been participating since the beginning. Executive Chef Ignacio Uribe and Sous Chef Hugo Mejia have designed a wonderful menu featuring a cross section of their expertise in a variety of cooking styles for you to enjoy.

"We want to show that we can prepare a wide variety of dishes on a regular basis," says Ignacio. "This event is the perfect opportunity for people to sample what our kitchen team can do - and at a great price, too."

Restaurant Week runs May 15 to 31, 2015 and the cost of dinner at Daiquiri Dick's is $299 per person. There are three courses and choices for each course. You select one dish from each category.

Starters

• Endive and Citrus Salad with Bacon Vinaigrette
• Pickled Egg Salad Crostini with Serrano Ham
• Mussels with Chorizo and Fresh Tomato Sauce

Entrées

• Spicy Chicken and Andouille Hash, with Bell Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes and Horseradish served with Rice

• Pan-Roasted White Fish served over White Beans with Anchovies and Capers

• Spaghetti Bolognese made with beef ribs, sirloin tips, ground beef, mortadella and finished in a pan with Parmigiano

Desserts
• Fresh Fruit Tart
• Coconut Cream Pie
• Gelato with Biscotti

Daiquiri Dick's Restaurant has an innovative menu which constantly evolves and is characterized as Mediterranean, Mexican cuisine with Asian influences. It is the only restaurant in Puerto Vallarta to offer a weekly special a la carte menu, in addition to its regular menu.
