London - For $500,000 USD, Tequila Avion is offering fans the chance to travel to the brand's distillery in Jalisco, Mexico, to sample the "world's most expensive tasting flight."
Ken Austin, founder of Avion Tequila, will host a private tasting with chef John Capon of El Toro Blanco in New York, plus a dinner at the home of master distiller Alejandro Lopez. Furthermore, guests will receive customized bottles of never-released Tequila from Austin's "personal Tequila library" and have the chance to age their own private small batch Aņejo expression.
Austin and Lopez will work with visitors to choose and harvest agave from the brand's agave fields, before helping them select their preferred barrel to age the Tequila for two or more years.
This exclusive travel package was made available for purchase on Tuesday, and includes travel to and from Jalisco on a private Gulfstream jet for up to 10 guests, two nights' accommodation, a professional photographer recording the trip and a private butler.
"As an ultra-premium Tequila brand, Avion aims to constantly challenge standards of quality and luxury," said Austin. "This exclusive travel package exemplifies our mission to create sought after products and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, while celebrating the Avion liquid, which is at the core of everything we do."
