Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - In order to encourage local unification and healthy living through sports, the City of Puerto Vallarta, through the Municipal Council for Sports Development, calls all athletes who play volleyball in the municipality's colonias to participate in the "Move Your Family" tournament.

Scheduled to be held on Sunday, July 12, at a venue yet to be confirmed, the tournament will be divided into two divisions: men's and women's, with second and third categories added as needed.

To participate, teams must have at least eight players all wearing uniforms with visible numbers. The games will begin at 10:00 am, with a competitive system of reciprocal play under Mexican Volleyball Federation rules.

The judges will be chosen from the participating teams and appointed by the Organizing Committee. The first three places in each category and division will be awarded with trophies and sports equipment.

Teams can sign up at the Agustin Flores Contreras or Alfonso Diaz Santos sports arenas Monday through Friday during office hours. Registration is free, but the deadline is Friday, July 10th, so if you want to play, sign your team up TODAY!
