Banderas Bay Women's Shelter Needs Your Help

September 8, 2015

If you would like to discuss volunteer opportunities or make a private donation, contact David Zude at compassionforthefamily(at)yahoo.com.mx, 044-322-103-2451, or visit CompassionForTheFamily.org.

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - Thanks to the hard work and generosity of many people, the Banderas Bay Women's Shelter has sufficient funds to cover operations costs and the salaries of a full time director and a part time coordinator for the shelter for another six to seven months.

We have also been blessed with the assistance of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, lawyers and a nurse who are all volunteering their time and talents to serve the women and children in the shelter.

We still have a great need. The shelter is equipped with several types of security measures, but we are still lacking 24 hour security personnel. The cost of contracting 24 hour security service is $30,000 pesos or approximately $2,000 dollars/month. Please consider helping us to provide this indispensable service. The lives of the women, the children and the workers are worth this cost.

You can contact me via email with any questions that you may have. Donations can be sent directly to Compassion for the Family, 115 13th Street SE, Altoona, IA 50009 or you can donate through Paypal on our website CompassionForTheFamilyMx.org. All donations are tax deductible for U.S. and Mexican citizens.
