Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - For many, the Puerto Vallarta Chamber Orchestra's annual holiday concerts have become an annual tradition since the ensemble's inception in 2004. The orchestra, which began as a small group of friends who gathered to play chamber music together, has grown into a 30-piece ensemble that delights audiences year after year.

This year's Winter Concert(s) will be held on December 13 & 14

Under the direction of Daniel Oliveros, the first part of the concert will be the great composer W. A. Mozart's masterpiece "Concertantes Quartett" for oboe, clarinet, bassoon, french horn, and orchestra K297B. We'll have the participation of 4 soloists from the Youth Orchestra OEPV and from out of town, the musicians:

Aldo Rodríguez – Mexico – Oboe
Terence Reilly – United States – Clarinet
Miguel Saavedra – Mexico – Bassoon
Omar Romero – Venezuela – French Horn

Miguel Saavedra is the 1° Bassoon from the OEPV and Omar Romero is the Horn Coach.

And of course, the orchestra will also celebrate the festive Holiday Season with a beautiful selection of our favorite Christmas music like "Christmas Festival" and "Sleigh Ride," among many others.

To ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the show, this year, the Puerto Vallarta Chamber Orchestra will present their Holiday Concert in two Banderas Bay area locations.

• The first concert will be performed at 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 13 at the Hotel Krystal in the Puerto Vallarta Hotel Zone.

• The second performance will take place at 8:00 pm on Monday, December 14 at Salon Paraíso, which is located at Paradise Village beside Hospital San Javier in Nuevo Vallarta.

Tickets for these not-to-be-missed annual performances are only $150 pesos. Children and student tickets are only $50 pesos, and are available at the OEPV – School Orchestra of Puerto Vallarta, located at Genaro Padilla 248, between 20 de noviembre and Independencia streets in Pitillal. Traditionally, tickets are also sold at the door on the night of the performance.
