La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Mexico - Calling all you "Know-it-Alls" - here is your chance to prove that you REALLY DO know it all! Compassion for the Family invites everyone to take part in the Third Annual Charity Team Trivia Tournament, a fund raising event for the Banderas Bay Women's Shelter to be held at Philo's on Tuesday, February 16, starting at 6:00 pm.
Get your team of 6 together and join us for an evening of fun, friendship and frivolity - all for a good cause! Since we started supporting this much needed charity, the building site has been developed, the housing constructed and furnished, and several women and their children are now in residence, receiving counseling and material support.
Here's how Team Trivia works:
The doors to Philo's bar will open at 5:30 and they'll be offering a limited menu featuring some of Philo's favorites.
Food order sheets and payment will be collected after round one. When it is ready, the food will be delivered to your table.
No-host Beer, Wine, Soft Drinks available at the bar.
Teams answer fun questions posed by our MC on all kinds of subjects... music, history, movies, TV shows, sports, geography, science, pop culture, etc. Answers put points on the scoreboard for your team. Between rounds team scores are updated 'on the big screen' so everyone can see where they stand against their competition.
A 'teaser' set of questions will be on each table for warm up - and used in case of a tie.
Don't have a full team? Got more than a full team? No worries, email pibattistel(at)me.com and we'll fix you up.
Early bird tickets cost just $125 pesos per person until February 12th, or $150 pesos per person at the door.
