Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Put on your best disco attire for the Puerto Vallarta Gay Men's Chorus' An Evening at Studio 54! We invite you to attend the 2016 De Colores fundraiser gala on March 19 at Oscar's Restaurant on the Isla Río Cuale. This year's event will also be the Puerto Vallarta Gay Men's Chorus Spring Concert.
A spectacular occasion is planned, including a welcome cocktail party, dinner, silent auction, raffle and concert followed by dancing to the best disco music of the 70's and 80's under the stars. And speaking of stars, there will be other surprise special guest appearances.
As the first gay chorus in Mexico, the PV Gay Men's Chorus provides musical education and training, and free and reasonably priced concerts throughout the year. PV Gay Men's Chorus can be seen and heard in all of the major parades and celebrations in Puerto Vallarta and at events supporting other worthy community causes.
Concert ticket sales do not begin to cover the annual expenses. Free concerts and public appearances, rentals of rehearsal spaces, honorariums for musicians, production equipment and scholarships for members require additional financial support. Last year's De Colores proceeds enabled the chorus to significantly increase its singing membership and make concert appearances throughout the four seasons.
This event has become a much anticipated celebration in Puerto Vallarta. Last year's event welcomed more guests, friends and supporters than ever before. Help the PV Gay Men's Chorus break that record again this year! Get your advance tickets at the office of Timothy Real Estate Group, Rivera Molino Plaza, or contact us by email at auction(at)pvmenschorus.org.
The mission of Puerto Vallarta Gay Men's Chorus is to present quality male choral music in Spanish and English using the voices and talent of gay Mexicans and expatriates to entertain, enlighten, and unify our audience and members while building bridges of greater understanding, acceptance and love between communities, cultures, families, and friends.
