Democrats Abroad Puerto Vallarta Chapter Presents 'Breach'

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - For the season finale of their Every Wednesday Night Film series, the Costa Banderas Chapter of Democrats Abroad Mexico is proud to present this week's movie, 'Breach.' This 2014 Galway Film Fleadh award-winning documentary will be shown at the International Friendship Club in downtown Puerto Vallarta on April 6th at 7:00 pm.

A 90 minute feature documentary film that asks the question, "Have we learned enough from our past to save the last, great wild salmon runs on the planet?"
When fishing guide/filmmaker Mark Titus learns why wild salmon populations plummeted in his native Pacific Northwest, he embarks on a journey to discover where the fish have gone and what might bring them back. Along the way, Titus unravels a trail of human hubris, historical amnesia and potential tragedy looming in Alaska - all conspiring to end the most sustainable wild food left on the planet. The cinematography is spellbinding.

Tickets are available at the International Friendship Club Monday-Friday from 9 am to 1:30 pm. IFC is located above the HSBC bank just north of the Rio Cuale in el Centro, Puerto Vallarta, where the streets Insurgentes, Libertad, and Miramar all come together at the curve. Come up the stairs, and the Clubhouse will be on your right side.

Tickets are available for a donation of 60 pesos in advance and 70 pesos at the door. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Refreshments will be available. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
