Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - A wonderful mix of charity, culture, live entertainment, delicious food and generous people made the 12th annual Vallarta Altruism Festival a great success. The organizers just announced the total amount of funds raised at the 2016 event, and it came to $883,260 pesos!
Well over one thousand Puerto Vallarta residents and visitors turned out for this event, which featured top restaurants offering food and refreshments, live entertainment, and booths where they could learn more about the 20 Banderas Bay area non-profit and charitable organizations they were benefiting, which this year included:

Each participating charity organization, as well as individuals, sold tickets to the Festival, and 100% of the ticket proceeds will be divided evenly among these local non-profit organizations, providing significant funding for their ongoing charitable activities.
