Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Baby, it's HOT outside! Too hot to even think about cooking, much less spending hours standing over a hot stove. Fortunately, the chefs at Daiquiri Dick's are serving up their Summer Sizzle menus, which offer hot deals on gourmet meals.

Through the end of August, the restaurant offers special a la carte menus that feature cuisines from around the world and change every two weeks. Each menu will feature a country or region, and from July 27 through August 8th Daiquiri Dick's Summer Sizzle Menu features the Flavors of Italy.

Executive Chef Ignacio Uribe, Chef de Cuisine Hugo Mejia and Sous Chef Rogelio Garcia have developed some amazing recipes, and are offering three courses for $350 pesos with choices for each course, or you can order these items a la carte. Here's a look at the Summer Sizzle Flavors of Italy menu, which is served from 5:00-10:30 pm.

Appetizers

• Grilled Panzanela Salad with Arugula, cherry tomato and grilled onions
• Watermelon Gazpacho with feta cream
• Shrimp and Calamari Frito Mixto with aioli

Main Courses

• Salmon poached in lemon infused olive oil, served over artichoke and sun dried tomato confit with grilled bell peppers

• Spaghetti a la Carbonara: Prosciutto and bacon toasted with a bit of garlic, finished with egg and Parmesan

• Pan Roasted Mediterranean Chicken with basil pistou sauce served over pan finished canellini beans with home made chorizo

Desserts

• Tiramisu Pot with Dark Rum
• Sweet Granita with blackberries, toasted almonds and mint

The Summer Sizzle Menu is not subject to any other discounts.
