"Mamma Mia: The Dance Concert"

Act II is delighted to bring to you one of Mexico's most famous dancers and choreographers, Adriana Quinto, and her 10-member dance troupe, La Quinto Danza Teatro. Adriana returns to Act II STAGES once again with her brand-new show, "Mamma Mia: The Dance Concert!" Adriana is well known in Puerto Vallarta for her breathtaking and artistic creation of Frida Kahlo at both the Teatro Vallarta and Act II Stages in 2012. She has studied and toured in Europe and Mexico, and was invited to teach, dance and perform at the renowned Following University of the Arts in Germany for four years. She is a former dance teacher at the University of Guadalajara and now teaches privately and performs many shows throughout the year.

Adriana's production of "Mamma Mia: The Dance Concert" will feature the live music of Vallarta favorite, Perla Alarcon, and her acoustical band, Proyecto M. They will interpret the music of this epic show, Mamma Mia, with a series of dance solos, duets, trios, and group formations in an artistic and expressive dance format. The show will be a fun, funny, beautiful and exciting Christmas week show that's perfect for everyone, including families with children.

Many will remember this performing arts / impersonation troupe from last year's wildly successful show, Mayhem With Mama, that performed 3 "mini musicals" on the Main Stage last season. Well, this year's "Big & Loud" is just that, larger than life and full of excitement! "Big & Loud" is a New Year's Drag Experience, featuring some of Seattle's finest drag entertainers!

The one and only Skyscraper Hostess, Mama Tits, will be joined by the Broadway Bombshell, Tipsy Rose Lee; the Glamazon Goddess, Isabella Extynn; and the Always Appetizing, Abbey Roads, to reflect on the past year and celebrate the coming of 2017. "Big & Loud" features live singing, amazing choreography, hilarious comedy and over-the-top costumes, culminating in a New Year's Celebration not to be missed! These divas have Big Dreams and Loud Personalities, and will close the year with a bang!

Jai Rodriguez is a prolific and multi-talented singer, actor and author. His acting credits are huge, having appeared on Broadway as "Angel" in the musical, Rent, "Zanna" in the musical, Zanna, Don't, and "Carmen Ghia" in The Producers, among many others. But Jai is best known for his Emmy-winning role as the "culture guide" on Bravo Network's reality show, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, the first all-gay cast in TV history! His recent TV credits include the ABC sitcom, Malibu Country with Reba McEntire and Lily Tomlin; starring opposite Nick Jonas in Kingdom (2014 TV series); and an upcoming role on the hit Netflix series, Grace and Frankie, opposite Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston.

Jai returns to Puerto Vallarta with an all-new show called "Tales of an Aging Twink," an R-rated "Glee" version of his life. Jai says, "This show will be just me and my piano, with Top 40 and musical theater songs in between stories about my life." Everyone who's seen his show this past year has been surprised! He begins the show by saying, "I will be totally honest during the show." Hmm... Funny, shocking and SURPRISING truths about a guy you think you know! This is definitely a show that you do not want to miss!
