The idyllic coastal town of Sayulita provides a scenic, Bohemian background perfect for this international festival. Once known only for its fishing business and scenic beaches, Sayulita now boasts a thriving community of local, Mexican restaurants and craftsman alongside trend-setting establishments. Surfing, paddle boarding, yoga, mountain biking and other outdoor activities help make Sayulita, Mexico an irresistible destination.

Festival Sayulita will highlight these many assets while spicing up the town with movies and short-length films projected on huge screens on the beach, food and drink, physical activities, and a fantastic concert headlined by Café Tacvba and Nortec Collective for a weekend of entertainment, culture, food, music and sports in this magical town.

Movies: Festival Sayulita attracts films and filmmakers from all over the world. They're proud to feature 50+ films annually in several categories; Features, Shorts, Animation and Stop Motion, Documentary and Action Sports.

Music: Music is an integral part of the culture in Sayulita. This event incorporates a variety of music, local and imported, and culminates with our main concert Festival Sayulita Jungle ¡Live! at Quintas Trujillo. Music, Food, Family, what more could you want?

Drinks: Sayulita is a place to discover new things and new flavors. Festival Sayulita features winemakers, distillers and craft brewers from all over Mexico sharing their spirits and knowledge with you. No one leaves a tasting without a smile.

Life: Sayulita is an active community, and it shows when you head to the beach on any given day. The festival uses an immense talent pool to create active events like The Stumble in the Jungle Fun Run, Yoga classes, fitness classes, mountain biking and surfing.

Art: And, since creativity pulses on every corner of Sayulita, and it is home to many fine artists both homegrown and transplanted, Festival Sayulita 2017 is proud to showcase local and regional talent in SayuArte, a fine art event to be held on the plaza, on Thursday, February 2. Free and open to the public, it includes art exhibits featuring only original works by recognized and emerging artists, fine art crafts, hands-on arts activities and live music.
