Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - The PV Garden Club supports not only a more beautiful, clean and verdant city, but is making it more attractive to tourism, thus creating a vibrant economy to support all the other great causes in Puerto Vallarta. Here's the latest news from the PVGC.
Final Days to Purchase Fiesta Rosa Tickets!
If you've not purchased your tickets for the 4th Annual Puerto Vallarta Garden Club party, our biggest fundraising event of the year, please do so today. Last year's Fiesta Blanca was a huge hit, and this year's Fiesta Rosa promises to be even more fun! So put on your best pink attire, bring your friends, and join us for a wonderful evening to support the important beautification work of the Garden Club.
The festive January 24 event will be held at Oscar's Restaurant on the Rio Cuale. Reception and Silent Auction begin a 6:30 pm, followed by our seated dinner and dancing at 8:00 pm. Rosa colored attire is encouraged, but not mandatory.
Join Us for our January Monthly Meeting
And don't forget our next monthly meeting. It's scheduled to be held on January 19 at 5:00 pm at The Jazz Foundation, located on the 2nd floor of Allende #116 overlooking the Malecón in downtown Puerto Valalrta.
This month's topic is Bounty: Fruits and Vegetables of Vallarta
Bonnie Jauregui, from Rancho Primavera, will share samples of the amazing greens and vegetables grown on her eco farm in El Tuito. Luc Vleeraker will bring exotic fruit from his orchard south of Vallarta. And our own Matthias Vogt will share tips on buying fresh produce at our local mercados. We've also invited Campo Verde, an organic farm in PV, to bring in fresh produce and unique items for members to purchase that evening. If you love to cook, this month's meeting is for you. See you there!
Have you renewed your PVGC membership for 2017? If not, please visit our website and do so today!
