• Act II debuts Neil Simon / Marvin Hamlish romantic comedy, They're Playing Our Song, with an opening night party at 6:30 pm on Saturday, March 11th.

• Avenue Q announces closing date of March 30th: You only have 4 more chances to catch this box office record-breaking, Tony Award winning musical before it closes for good! Thursdays in March at 7:00 pm.

• Casting Call: Act II is looking for actors, dancers and singers for the 2017-2018 season's Summer and Winter shows. Auditions for the 2017-2018 season, summer programs, and "The PV Players" are being held this weekend, March 11 & 12, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm each day. Act II Entertainment is holding general auditions for the public, for people who would like to participate in Act II's summer programs, which include improv and sketch comedy, and for people who are interested in joining Act II's NEW Repertoire Troupe called "The PV Players." Participants are expected to come prepared for a Cold Read -OR- to bring a prepared piece. A General Dance audition, and General Song audition are open to those interested. Please come with your song choice on a USB. See you there!

Our favorite spot here in Puerto Vallarta is Act II Stages. Always thrilling. However, THIS show (Laurel Canyon) took it to a whole new level.

When managing partner Danny Mininni was promoting this show, he called it a "religious experience," and I thought finally he had probably gone a little "off the rail" - BUT Danny, I was SO WRONG!
