Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico - On Saturday, April 8, Act II Entertainment Founder/Managing Partner, Danny Mininni, will appear in a play at STAGES for the first time. That's right, after a four year absence from performing, Danny will return to his one true love... The Stage.

Mininni has been acting in Puerto Vallarta since he first appeared 8 years ago in a little show called Robin's Hoods at the original Boutique Theater, where he also appeared in several stage shows including playing 'Aunt Martha' in Arsenic and Old Lace.

But, since opening the Act II Entertainment complex in November of 2013, Danny has been so busy 'running the show' that he hasn't had time to perform - until now!

Danny is so thrilled that Act II is finally at a place where he is able to get back on stage that he's making his debut - in Drag! - in the award winning play, Casa Valentina, on Saturday, April 8 at 7:00 pm.

Casa Valentina is a humorous and uplifting play written by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein - the writer of the multi-award winning musical Kinky Boots. The production was nominated for four 2014 Tony Awards, including the coveted Best Play Award and Best Costume Design of a Play.

Here in Puerto Vallarta, this moving, insightful and delightfully entertaining play is directed by Allen McMullen, and stars Tom Bernes, Nathan Frye, Bert Ramirez, Dwayne Carrier, Thomas Carroll, Cherry DeLorenzo, Maria Rose, Dr Ken Shanoff - and Act II's Danny Mininni.

As a professional actor, Danny appeared in many movies and TV shows, including a season on Melrose Place as 'Danny the Bartender' in Kyle's Restaurant, Caroline in the City, Murphy Brown and many other shows. Danny last acted for the big screen in A Civil Action with John Travolta but, when his part got cut from the movie, he decided to leave film acting and return to stage acting.

Though one of the reasons that Act II was opened was to give Danny a place to act, it has taken four years to make that dream a reality, so come out to STAGES on Saturday, April 8 at 6:00 pm to celebrate Danny's return to the stage - and to meet the full cast of Casa Valentina at the Opening Night Party!
