Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Act II, in its effort to provide top-quality, year-round entertainment to the community, has created a brand-new summer series, called "Spotlight on Vallarta!" This series will be presented in The Red Room and is designed to highlight the incredible talent of people that live full-time in Puerto Vallarta.

The first Spotlight show, "The Gabest Show on Earth," which starts on June 15, features Gabe Arcineaga, a man that many will remember from his incredible singing performances last season in the Encore Lounge. Gabe is a relative newcomer to Puerto Vallarta, having moved here from Texas last October.

In addition to his incomparable singing skills, Gabe is also a talented actor. In fact, he played the lead role of 'Richard Hannay' in Act II's production of 39 Steps this year. His professional background includes acting, singing and touring as a dancer with Charo, so Gabe has promised that his one-man show will be filled with music, stories, comedy and dancing, as well as a little bit of gossip from his days on the road! This show is a MUST-SEE!

The second show, on June 22, marks the inaugural performance of Act II's newest sensation, Trinity, a musical group featuring "The Voice of Vallarta" winners from 2015, 2016 and 2017! Act II is proud and excited to be able to showcase the talents of Ana Letuka Adame, Eli Estrada, and Emperatriz Valles in their first cabaret show!

The Voice of Vallarta was created originally to find and cultivate local talent, then to give them the opportunity to create a cabaret show and perform in The Red Room. Trinity is the climax of that dream. Each of these girls is an artist in her own right, but when they come together, they create magic!

Show producer, Alfonso Lopez, says "I am so proud of how far each of these girls has come since they each won The Voice of Vallarta. In this new show, they have created a natural synergy between them, one that will thrill the audience!" This show features solos, duets and trios, as well as dancing and drama. It is sure to be a winner!

Bob's Famous Karaoke Party
Bob's Karaoke Party are back! The fun starts every Wednesday at 6:00 pm with no cover and 2 x 1 drink specials that last til 9:00 pm. Karaoke starts at 8:00 pm, with some of the best voices in PV gathering in the Encore Lounge to sing. Whether you are a good singer, or just love to listen to others sing, this is your chance to have some laughs and hear some local talent in the air-conditioned comfort of the Encore Lounge. Hosted by Alfonso Lopez, Maria Rose and Marsha Ross, along with singers from your favorite shows who come to sing along with the locals, Bob's Karaoke party is where expats meet 'n greet every Wednesday night - and the most fun you'll have in one place all summer long!
