San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico - Entreamigos, a non-profit organization that has been working to provide San Pancho children and their families with better educational opportunities for eleven years, recently announced that the fourth edition of Literary Week will be held from Monday, May 29 through Friday, June 2, 2017.
About Literary Week
"In an increasingly digital and technological world, we feel the responsibility and desire to summon families and children to discover the treasure hidden in books, to invite them to re-discover the magic that lies behind telling a story, the creativity of the fantastic contexts and characters, and in learning the story's messages," Entreamigos founder, Nicole Swedlow, explained. "Literary Week is designed so that people of all ages can participate creatively, either by giving workshops or by attending various activities that awaken the imagination."
Nicole went on to describe how the Entreamigos Community Center is always working to keep the magic of literature alive for generations to come.
"We have an extensive library of children and youth material that functions as a center for various activities such as story telling, tutoring, reading circle, art, etc. We are also the headquarters of the Reading Rooms program in Nayarit."
