Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - ACT LGBT A.C., an influential legal coalition representing the interests of Puerto Vallarta LGBT and LGBT-friendly businesses and independent professionals to promote economic growth, invites everyone to be part of their working meeting with Mayor Arturo Dávalos.
Set to take place on Thursday, June 29 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Club de Leones (Lion's Club), Francisco I. Madero #280, the meeting's agenda includes an open dialogue with Puerto Vallarta's Mayor about issues of significant importance to the Romantic Zone and our community. If you'd like to attend, RSVP to info(at)actlgbt.org.
Since its founding, the Asociación de Comercios y Turismo (ACT LGBT) has been representing the various interests of the LGBT and LGBT-friendly owned and managed businesses and independent professionals in Puerto Vallarta who work together to promote economic growth and prosperity in Puerto Vallarta through public and private sector advocacy.
But undoubtedly the main event of ACT LGBT A.C. is Vallarta Pride, an annual event held during the last days of May to celebrate the diversity of the LGBT community who live and visit Puerto Vallarta.
This year's Pride Parade was special because, for the first time, Mayor Arturo Dávalos Peńa and his family, along with the Police Chief, Firefighters and other municipal authorities, participated. This strengthened the destination's positioning as a world class LGBT friendly resort and opened the door to greater collaboration between local businesses and government to create opportunities across the city.
If you own a business in Puerto Vallarta, or are thinking about opening one, you won't want to miss this meeting with the Mayor. Admission is free, but space is limited, so RSVP to info(at)actlgbt.org to reserve your place.
The Asociación de Comercios y Turismo (ACT LGBT) is a non-profit organization, representing the various interests of LGBT owned and managed businesses, LGBT friendly businesses, and professionals in Puerto Vallarta, who work together to promote economic growth and prosperity through public and private sector advocacy and to create strategies to strengthen the destination's positioning as a world-class LGBT friendly resort.
