Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The winner of The Voice of Vallarta 2017, Emperatriz Valles, will be performing her first cabaret show in The Red Room on Thursday, July 6 at 7:30 pm.

A native of Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, Emperatriz had a very successful career as a recording artist before she and her family moved to Puerto Vallarta last year. Upon arrival, she was excited to learn about The Voice of Vallarta and immediately auditioned for the 18-week singing competition.

After winning over the judges, Emperatriz quickly became an impressive contender. With her rich, velvety tone and soulful performances she captivated audiences and was named the undeniable winner of the entire 2017 competition!

'The Voice of Vallarta' was originally created to find and cultivate local talent, then to give them the opportunity to create a cabaret show and perform in The Red Room. And that's how Trinity, a musical group featuring the winners from 2015, 2016 and 2017, Ana Letuka Adame, Eli Estrada and Emperatriz Valles, was born.

In her cabaret show, Libre, which opens July 6, Emperatriz Valles will perform alongside her famous husband, Alejandro Alcalá, who will accompany her on the acoustic guitar. She will perform many Latin songs, some of them originals, that she recorded in Venezuela. She's excited about this opportunity and looks forward to thrilling the audience with her incredible vocals.
