Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Baby, it's HOT outside! Too hot to even think about cooking, much less spending hours standing over a hot stove. Fortunately, the chefs at Daiquiri Dick's are serving up their Summer Sizzle menus, which offer hot deals on gourmet meals.

Through the end of August, the restaurant offers special 3-course Summer Sizzle menus that feature cuisines from around the world and change every two weeks. Each menu will feature a country or region, and from July 16th through 31st Daiquiri Dick's Summer Sizzle Menu features the flavors of Italy.

Executive Chef Ignacio Uribe, Chef de Cuisine Hugo Mejia and Sous Chef Rogelio Garcia have developed some amazing recipes, and are offering three courses for $399 pesos with choices for each course. Here's a look at the Summer Sizzle 'Taste of Italy' menu, which is served from 5:00-10:30 pm.

Daiquiri Dick's A Taste of Italy Menu

Starters

• Pan Seared Sea Scallops over creamed corn with fennel and coriander

• Grilled Nectarines and Peaches over baby spinach topped with citrus vinaigrette, goat cheese and caramelized pecans

• Grilled Italian Bread with topped with grilled vegetables and a balsamic vinegar reduction

Entrées

• Cumin-Fennel rubbed Salmon with fennel and parsley salad drizzled with honey mustard vinaigrette

• Spaghetti with Calamari, fennel and lemon sauce

• Pan finished Chicken with cherry tomatoes, olives, shallots and potato wedges

Desserts

• Vanilla Cupcake Ice Cream Sandwiches
• Tiramiso pot with dark rum

The restaurant's tropical location on Los Muertos Beach offers the perfect atmosphere for enjoying light fare, cold drinks and cool breezes during the hot summer season, and the Summer Sizzle keeps the menu interesting.
