Riviera Nayarit, Mexico - From December 27-29th, the "SinergiArte" festival will return to San Pancho for the twelfth consecutive year. After eleven very successful festivals, this has become one of the most important cultural events in and around San Pancho, which has become to be known as the Cultural Capital of the State of Nayarit.
Organized by the San Pancho Collective (CSP), an open group of people interested in artistic and cultural expression, as well as the preservation and appreciation of traditions, education, the community and the environment, the SinergiArte festival has a particular theme and focus each year, which, for 2017, is "Coexist for a Conscious and Collective Change."
The Plaza del Sol, or the square, as it's traditionally known, will be the focal point for this festival of lights, colors, aromas, tastes, magic, music and community. The multi-cultural content to be presented expresses the responsibility we have as human beings in the face of the profound transformation that is taking place in our time, and encourages everyone to "Be the change, be consciousness, and do it together in community."
This free and family-friendly event includes dance, theater and music performances; film, literature, photography, multimedia, painting and sculpture presentations and workshops; martial arts and sports exhibitions, along with booths selling handicrafts and typical food of the region.
The 2017 San Pancho SinergiArte festival is open to all, from kids to ranchers, hippies, surfers, tourists, artists, etc... everyone's invited, so make plans now to attend!
