Happy Holidays from Vallarta Garden Club
We want to take this opportunity to wish all of our members and supporters a wonderful holiday season. Thanks to all of you, we've had such a great year and we look forward to accomplishing even more in the new year.
Please make plans to join us at one of our upcoming events:
December 12
Holiday Luncheon at Vallarta Botanical Garden
with special guest Bob Bruneau
Bring your friends and help celebrate us the holidays in a festive luncheon at Puerto Vallarta's beautiful Botanical Garden at 1:00 pm. Bob Bruneau, a fellow Garden Club member, will perform a number of beloved holiday classics. Each guest will order from the menu and be responsible for the cost of your own food and drinks. There will be no admission fee for Garden Club guests. Please RSVP via email to davidmuck(at)yahoo.com if you plan to attend.
December 21
Final Membership Meeting of 2017
At our final membership meeting of 2017, we will give everyone an update on our December projects, be available to process 2018 membership renewals, and also be on hand to begin selling tickets for Fiesta Azul (Jan 23), our biggest event of the year. Plan to meet at 5:00 pm on the Incanto terrace, 109 Insurgentes at Rio Cuale.
Upcoming January Events
January 9 - Wine and cocktails at OPC (Garden Club members only)
January 11 - Monthly Membership Meeting at Incanto
January 23 - Fiesta Azul (Annual Gala)
We would like to extend a special thanks to Garden Club member Mike Laking for the use of his beautiful photography throughout the year. The image above is a great example of Mike's work and illustrates his gift for amazing floral photography. Mike is also providing the photography for this year's Fiesta Azul and has donated the work featured in the Fiesta Azul marketing campaign for this year's silent auction.
