Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - At any given time a piece of musical theater by Rodgers and Hammerstein is probably being performed. As the biggest force on Broadway when Broadway was the biggest force in entertainment, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein created a string of popular Broadway musicals in the 1940s and 1950s, initiating what is considered the "golden age" of musical theater.

Their musical theater writing partnership produced some of the world's most popular stage and film musicals, including Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music. Directed by Alfonso López, this magical show offers a glorious parade of unforgettable hits from the best musicals of all time, and places four of PV's best singers on The Main Stage: renowned soprano Vanessa Amaro from the national conservatory of music; Alfonso López a classically trained musician/singer with a Masters in music; Hal Bonta, and Kami Desilets, two veteran stage actors with hundreds of Broadway Musicals on their resumes.
