Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Since, according to the Chinese zodiac, 2018 is The Year of the Dog, which emphasizes dependability, loyalty and reunions with family and friends, a lovely champagne brunch will be held at Casa Kimberly on Wednesday, March 7 at 11:00 am to benefit the SPCA of PV.
Founded by a group of dedicated animal lovers, the SPCA de PV is a no-kill shelter that can house up to 130 animals at once. Supported by individual donations and fund raising events such as this, these volunteers rescue and find permanent homes for over 200 animals each year.
The mission of SPCA de PV is to help fund and promote sterilization, adoption and health care efforts for companion animals in the Puerto Vallarta area, with the goal of eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals.
Tickets to "The Year of the Dog" Champagne Brunch fundraiser cost just $595 pesos. Monies raised will support these various goals in ways that are most feasible within the community. This event is being entirely underwritten by Hacienda San Angel owner Janice Chatterton, so 100% percent of the proceeds will go to the SPCA de PV.
Seating is limited, and tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so send an email to spcapv(at)gmail.com, or stop by the Olas Altas Farmers Market on Saturdays to get your tickets today!
