Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Act II announces its 2018 / 2019 theater season and is looking right now for cast members for next season's shows! General Auditions will be held at Act II Stages on Saturday, March 17, at 1:00 pm.

Many people have told us that they would like to be involved in the theater, but are feeling scared or shy. You absolutely don't need to be afraid! Most of our performers on the Main Stage have never acted before, or may not have acted since high school. When you are cast into a production at Act II, you will go through an 8-week rehearsal process with the best directors in Mexico! You will learn how to act, you will make new friends, and you will become a part of the very special "Act II Family!"

So, would you like to act? Sing? Dance? Work backstage? Tech work? "It takes a village" to put on a show, so if you are interested, please tell us NOW so that we can make plans for next year. Come to the auditions on Saturday, March 17, at 1:00 pm, and bring 2 songs on a USB, as well as a prepared monologue. If you don't have a monologue, we will provide one for you.

We are excited to announce the list of shows that we plan on doing next year! Little Shop of Horrors, Hair, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, The Gershwin Music review, Nunsense AMEN, and I Love You You're Perfect, Now Change.

High on our wish list is Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and to celebrate the very beginning of great theater in Puerto Vallarta, Act II Owner, Danny Mininni, will return to the Director's Chair with the play that started it all in Puerto Vallarta, The Foreigner. (All shows are subject to change, depending on casting.)
