Iconic NYC Movie Nights with Hedda Lettuce Come to Puerto Vallarta

New York's reigning "Queen of Green" brings her iconic Movie Night to Act II at last! Hedda Lettuce has been treating audiences in New York to her signature brand of irreverent comedy at her famous Movie Nights for over 15 years. Always a sensation in New York, Hedda's light commentary accompanies the classic movies we love, presenting them in a whole new hilarious light. Act II is proud to present TWO nights of classic films getting the Hedda treatment: Singin' in the Rain on Wednesday, April 18, and Hairspray (1988 version) on Monday, May 21. Shows start at 8 pm, and be sure to arrive on time - Hedda will be providing introductory pre-show comedy before the film starts. Tickets are available at act2pv.com.

Members from two of Canada's renowned improv comedy troupes are combining to become "ImproVallarta" a show created exclusively for Act II Entertainment Stages! From April 17 to 28, this improv power-trio will present shows in the format of Whose Line Is It, Anyway? along with their own brand of "Dangerous Improv." From ImproVision are Alan MacKenzie, George McRobb, and stage manager, Audra Lesosky. Since 2002, they have performed their own hilarious style of improv in international theater and comedy festivals, as well as exclusive engagements in other venues. Alan and George use their lightning quick wit to take audience suggestions and spin side-splitting scenes on the spot. These veteran performers "mash up" standard improv games, throw in mousetraps, clothespins and even audience volunteers to generate huge laughs.
