Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Grab your furry friend and head out to the Malecón in downtown Puerto Vallarta on Saturday, April 21st between 4:00 and 10:00 pm to be a part of the First Edition of 'Foto Tour Perruno.'

A non-profit initiative created as a means of raising funds for the Puerto Vallarta Animal Shelter, El Centro de Control, Asistencia Animal y Albergue Municipal, Foto Tour Perruno gives dogs and cats a chance to strut their stuff, and pet owners the opportunity to have a professional photo taken with their four-legged friends - for a donation of just $100 pesos (or more!)

All of the event's proceeds will be given to the municipally run "pound". Better known as El Centro de Acopio, the Puerto Vallarta Animal Shelter is staffed by fabulous veterinarians and caretakers who work hard every day to ensure each animal's basic needs are met, but they rely strictly on donations to provide food and medicine to all of the dogs and cats that are housed there.

Make plans now to come out to the thatched booth that will be set up near the lighthouse on the Malecón, where renowned local photographer Daniel Alvarez will capture candid moments of you and your pet - just for making a small donation to a good cause! After the shoot, a high resolution photo will be emailed to you and posted on the Foto Tour Perruno Facebook page.

There will also be live music and plenty of family-friendly fun, so don't miss this unique fundraising event for the Puerto Vallarta Animal Shelter.
