Act II is thrilled to present Katmandu in Concert, an exotic blend of Indian ragas, Latin jazz and Blues, featuring the amazing sitarist/guitarist Don Pope and singer/pianist Rhonda Padmos! This extraordinary concert will feature some of Don and Rhonda's original songs that were written to display the beautiful sounds of the Indian sitar and a tribute to history's sitar masters, Ravi Shankar, and George Harrison.

In the early 1970's, Don Pope travelled to India where he fell under the spell of the sitar virtuoso, Ravi Shankar. Seeing a Shankar concert was a life-changing experience for him, and he vowed to learn to play the sitar and to know and understand the music of India. He later studied with Ashish Khan, the nephew of Shankar, and later collaborated with him in a concert tour of India.

Rhonda Padmos, whose beautiful voice and expertise on both piano and keyboards, is the perfect accompaniment to Don's beautiful sitar music. Don and Rhonda have been an integral part of the music scene in Puerto Vallarta for many years. Now in their 5th season at Act II, they are thrilled to be able to share their love for Indian music with you in this special concert!

"Come Together" is a HUGE musical tribute and celebration of The Beatles, featuring LIVE MUSIC! This musical extravaganza brings together many of the stars of Act II, including cast members from this year's Woodstock '69, The Mamas and the Papas, California Dreamin', and last year's Fleetwood Mac and Rumors!

Rhonda Padmos and Don Pope have created a NEW Beatles show, which includes well-known songs as well as some of the Beatles' solo career hit songs. They will also be inviting the audience to test their Beatles knowledge with their new musical trivia game show, "BEAT THE BEATLES," which is filled with hilarious obscure tidbits about the Beatles, leaving everyone in stitches! "Come Together" is definitely a MUST-SEE show!
