Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - After a couple of record years, the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust (Fidetur) is setting the bar higher as they strive to increase the number of national and international arrivals through pro-active promotional campaigns that focus on attracting different niche markets.
The Director General of the Fidetur, Javier Aranda Pedrero, is committed to continuing to market Puerto Vallarta and sister destination Riviera Nayarit as a unit: Puerto Vallarta with its city-meets-beach feel, and Riviera Nayarit for its secluded beaches and jungles.
He says that the tourism board is focused on attracting new markets of people and will do so by promoting the natural attractions and cultural events that appeal to younger travelers, as well as the typical older demographic that tends to flock to the destination's beaches and hotels.
And Vallarta's new promotional video, Let The Good Times Roll, does just that, showcasing everything from Banderas Bay's beautiful sandy beaches and blue waters to the jungle-clad mountains of the Sierra Madre, and the incredible architecture and culture.
"Words cannot describe the beauty of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit. These are places you must see to believe. This is what we set out to achieve with our new video: to get you as close to the Pacific Coast as possible. We've captured Mexico's vibrant, multi-faceted spirit in a three-minute film, and we're pleased to share it with the rest of the world, Aranda Pedrero said.
Marc Murphy, Managing Director of the Riviera Nayarit Convention & Visitors Bureau, is just as proud to show off the region's balance of nature, culture, gastronomy and fun.
"Whether you like to unwind by the beach with a cool drink in your hand, go on an extreme adventure, or anything in between, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit have it all. This is only a preview of the amazing times you will have here. And once you visit, we know you'll never want to leave," he said.
