Punta Mita, Mexico - Learn to master the waves from three legendary Mexican surfers: Coco Nogales, Diego Cadena and Fernando Stalla. The three will lead the Punta Mita Surf Camp August 8-12. Hosted by Punta Mita Ocean Sports, the camp is perfect for all skill levels and includes much more than just riding the waves.
Participants will be able to learn the ways of the water in a variety of activities like Rescue FIT, a surf session by boat, tow surf training and FOIL surf lesson. During the morning guests will take to the waves for different types of surf lessons, while the afternoons will be highlighted by a themed class by each of the three surfers. During surf sessions, participants will be videoed and then later reviewed one on one to perfect their skills.
Coco Nogales will teach the importance of water safety and how jet skis have become crucial lifesaving tools big wave hunting. Learn the basics of jet ski safety and skills and then take it to the next level with FOIL surf training behind the skis.
Diego Cadena will teach on the importance of controlling heart rate for breath holding and APNEA basics that can be used in spearfishing, followed by a spearfishing excursion with the crew.
Waterman legend Fernando Stalla will teach the basics of Hawaiian Outrigger canoes and team work and how its influenced modern water sports.
There will also be an awards dinner on the final night along with meals and other fun activities throughout the camp.
The surf camp is available with or without accommodations.
