Manchester, England - There's going to be a new long haul flight from Manchester Airport to Mexico. TUI has announced plans to increase frequency to Puerto Vallarta, on Mexico's Pacific Coast, for winter 2019 and summer 2020.
TUI Airways, formerly Thomson Airways and often referred to as TUI UK, is the world's largest charter airline, offering scheduled and charter flights from the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland to destinations in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America.
The Mexico flights, which will be on a 787 Dreamliner aircraft, are available to book now. Travelers are also able to book their summer 2020 vacations now, earlier than ever before. The program includes additional 10 and 11 night options for holidays to Mexico.
TUI UK's director of aviation planning Karen Switzer said: "Adding more choice and flexibility demonstrates our commitment to Manchester airport and the local area, as we continue to focus on expanding access to our amazing range of holidays through an extended flying program concentrated on the core destinations that we know our customers want to visit."
Manchester Airport's aviation director, Julian Carr said: "It's great to see TUI launching its summer 2020 and winter 2019 programs. With extra capacity and an additional frequency to Puerto Vallarta, travelers have the opportunity to plan ahead for their summer getaway."
