Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Panama native, Diana Villamonte, is skyrocketing to fame in both Puerto Vallarta and across Mexico. She is in her second year as a Headliner in The Red Room Cabaret and has just won 1st Runner-Up in the singing competition, La Voz, televised across Mexico and beyond. Join Act II Entertainment in welcoming Diana back to Vallarta on Friday, December 28th at 5:00 pm in The Red Room Cabaret.

Diana has returned from Mexico City where she has been competing for weeks on The Voice of Mexico. This competition tries to find candidates with top-notch vocal skills. And for that, four major music stars, are responsible for finding and training the next great Voice of Mexico. The series consists of three phases: a blind audition, a battle phase, and live performance shows.

Over 20,000 people applied to be contestants on La Voz, and it is an amazing achievement that Diana Villamonte received 1st Runner-Up in this national competition. Her performances on this internationally televised show were simply remarkable.

Over the past two years, Danny Mininni and Alfonso Lopez have been actively mentoring Diana's talent at Act II and developing outstanding shows for her featuring the music of Tina Turner, Motown and Whitney Houston. As a result, Diana has risen to the top of the entertainment scene in Vallarta.

As the runner-up of "The Voice of Vallarta" competition two years ago and as a seasoned performer at Act II, Diana was truly ready for La Voz competition. 'A Star Was Born' on the stage of La Voz and many of us believe that Diana will soon to be an international singing sensation! She is 'the whole enchilada' but still remains humble and hardworking. Diana Villamonte is ready to launch, and we are all standing by cheering as she takes off!
