Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Kaiser Maximilian, in the heart of the Puerto Vallarta Romantic Zone, will be celebrating Christmas on December 24 with a four-course dinner that is sure to make your holidays bright. The European bistro atmosphere and attentive staff in both the Espresso Bar and the restaurant's main dining room will add to the festive experience.
Owner Andreas Rupprechter and Executive Chef Juan Carlos Palomer have created wonderful selections for this occasion. It is a four course meal with choices for each course. The price is $790 pesos per person, which does not include the tip.
This is the Christmas Eve Dinner Menu for Monday, December 24, 2018 and it is served from 5 to 11 pm at Espresso Bar and in the Main Dining Room from 6 to 11 pm. The restaurant will only be open for this dinner and the a la carte menu will not be available.
First Course (select one)
• Marinated Mahi Mahi with green asparagus in vinaigrette
• Sautéed Squid and Shrimp on wilted spinach and sesame garlic sauce
• Caesar Salad with crispy potato croutons
• Marinated Beets and Carrots, mixed berry sauce, fine greens and goat cheese
• Duck Confit Salad, sherry vinaigrette, caramelized squash, pears, greens
• Spinach Strudel with mixed greens and tomatoes
Second Course (select one)
• Raviolis with fennel filling, prosciutto, mushrooms and tarragon sauce
• Smoked Mushroom Cream Soup with quinoa, roasted chiles
• Crab Cake with avocado purée, tequila lime glaze, glass leeks
• Roasted Scallops, squash purée, hazelnut butter
• Roasted Quail with mushroom risotto and Parmesan
• Smoked Trout with green, tomato and cucumber salad, horseradish
Third Course (select one)
• Turkey Medallion stuffed with nuts, dried fruits, sweet potato purée, roasted prunes
• Roasted Leg of Veal on glazed vegetables, Spätzle and cream sauce with mushrooms
• Beef Tenderloin, creamy gorgonzola cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, potato gratin
• Candied Leg of Lamb, eggplant purée, ricotta, cumin
• Halibut with Diver Scallops, lemon and caper sauce, zucchini
• Salmon Fillet, angel hair pasta, mozzarella, asparagus, red wine sauce
• Pickled Shrimp Steak with couscous, julienne vegetables, white wine sauce, chía
Fourth Course (select one)
• Warm Pecan Chocolate Bourbon Tart, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream
• Sour Cream Cheesecake, coconut crust, rum-poached pineapple, strawberries
• Chocolate Pot de Crème, caramel mousse, sea salt
• Apple Caramel, Buckwheat Crumble, linden granita
