• Diana Villamonte's Motown & Beyond CD Available This Week!
Act II is excited to announce that the long-awaited "Motown & Beyond" CD of Act II's superstar, Diana Villamonte, is now available! A project that has been a year in the making is finally ready to launch! This CD features music from Diana's "Motown & Beyond" show, as well as some of her personal favorite songs. Diana's shows have been the #1 attraction in the Puerto Vallarta entertainment scene for the past two years and she also made quite an impression in The Voice of Mexico competition, as the 1st runner-up! Gabe Arciniega, former dancer/singer with "Cuchi-Cuchi Charo," presents The Gabest Show on Earth, 2.0! With songs such as The Bitch is Back, Freedom, I Want to Take You Higher, Nobody Knows You (When You're Down and Out), Sound of Silence, Steamroller Blues, Signed Sealed and Delivered, Hot Legs and more, this show is one of the most popular in Act II history!

Filled with beautiful music, poignant stories, incredible comedy and exuberant dancing, Gabe will also pay tribute to some of his lifelong music icons, to some of the most iconic songs ever written, and to some of the most iconic performers who ever lived. He will also welcome Vallarta's favorite singer/actress, Maria Rose, as a guest in this show.

Although not a stranger to the stage, Gabe is a relative newcomer to Puerto Vallarta. He moved here from California and was immediately cast as the lead character of Richard Hannay in Act II's production of 39 Steps, as well as George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life! He also thrilled audiences last year with his critically-acclaimed performance as Dr. Frankenfurter in The Rocky Horror Show!

A Show with a Purpose: Every year, Act II has raised funds for a local charity during one of its shows. This year, Act II has chosen to support the Banderas Bay Women's Shelter! From now until the annual WHAT A DRAG charity event on March 10th, you can see a great show (Nunsense, A-Men!) and help the Banderas Bay Women's Shelter at the same time! Act II will match all donations made during this show! The funds will be presented to them at the WHAT A DRAG event in March! WHAT A DRAG is always hilarious and features a competition of straight men in "drag," who are raising funds for the Banderas Bay Women's Shelter. This year's fundraising goal is $1,000,000 pesos! Act II wants to help them get there!
