Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - It is not too late to experience a true Mexican tradition in Old Town Puerto Vallarta! The 2019 Fiestas de Mayo festivities continue outside of Parroquia de la Santa Cruz, located on the corner of Calles Aguacate and Lazaro Cardenas in Colonia Emiliano Zapata through Friday, May 3.

We invite you to join us starting at 6:00 pm every evening through May 3rd to enjoy free family-friendly entertainment, including live music and Folkloric dance groups, along with a variety of food booths selling local cuisine, booths featuring games of chance to challenge you, rides for the children, raffles, contests, clown shows, and much more.

8:15-9:15 pm: Grupo Cultura Musical Juvenil playing their unique style of Huichol music
9:30-10:30 pm: Ballet Folklórico Xiutla will present dances of different states of Mexico

TUESDAY, APRIL 30
Children's Day celebration with special contests and gifts for kids!

8:30-9:00 pm: Bachata dance show with Salsa Corazón, and Salsa with Ashe Dance
9:00-10:00 pm: "Chicotito" our performing clown
10:00-11:00 pm: Performance by "The Change" Rock Band

WEDNESDAY, MAY 1ST

9:00-9:45 pm: Performance by singer Martin Madero, "El Estruendo de Vallarta"
10:00-12:30 pm: Special performance by "La Sonora Santanera," playing all of his hits

THURSDAY, MAY 2

10:00-11:30 pm: Popular Serenade to the Holy Cross by Chela Ortiz and Guests
11:30-11:55 pm: Traditional Dance by Beto Franco
11:59 pm: "Las Mananitas" (Mexican Birthday song) sung to the Church of Santa Cruz

FRIDAY, MAY 3
Día de La Santa Cruz

6:15 pm: Magna parish pilgrimage with our blessed and traditional image of the Holy Cross. Parishioners from Nogalito, Mismaloya, Boca de Tomatlan, present apostolic movements accompanied by live music.

7:30 pm: Mass performed on the street outside the Church of Santa Cruz
8:45-9:00 pm: Official Torch Reception
9:00-10:00 pm: Pre-Hispanic Dance Show by the Mexicanisimo Ballet
10:00-11:00 pm: Presentation of the original Cheko Ortiz and his Band
11:00-11:20 pm: Pyrotechnics display featuring a spectacular castillo
11:30-12:30 pm: Closing Celebration with Lalo El Tigre and the Northern Invasion
