Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Act II's popular live musical comedy show, Twist & Shout, was invited to perform at the Spotlight Club in Ajijic last week! Pedro Islas, the show's creator, who also portrays "Tony the Jaguar," tells us that it was a "magical" evening, with much fun and laughter.

He said it was especially funny when his partner, "Sarah Lee" (played by Faride Talamas) was dancing and came down so hard on the floor that the heel fell off of her shoe! The audience thought it was a planned part of the show and everyone laughed hilariously!

Twist & Shout is performed in English every Saturday evening at Act II and combines a delightful story with lots of jukebox hits from the 50s and 60s, including songs such as I Wanna Be Loved By You, Can't Take My Eyes Off of You, Be My Baby, Lollipop, I Only Want to Be With You, Twist and Shout... and more!

Pedro and Faride are professional actors/musicians and have received rave reviews about this show. Everyone agrees that it is definitely a "feel-good" type of show, and is perfect entertainment for anyone who loves Rock and Roll music!

This week features one of Puerto Vallarta's favorite bands, Tequila Rush, who will present "A Tribute to Led Zeppelin." Formed in 1968, Led Zeppelin was an English rock band that became known as one of the originators of heavy metal music, thanks to their guitar-driven songs lke "Black Sabbath" and "Deep Purple." Led Zeppelin's musical style had a wide variety of influences, including blues, psychedelia and folk music.

Comprised of accomplished musicians who have been together for three years, Tequila Rush has a HUGE following in the greater Banderas Bay area. Some of their songs are available on YouTube, and Led Zeppelin is one of their favorite inspirations.

Tequila Rush performs regularly at hotels and restaurants, as well as parties and events all over Puerto Vallarta. The band recently performed this show to a sold-out audience at the Roxy and received rave reviews, and they're excited to have the opportunity to perform their Led Zeppelin tribute show again! Paco rompe la cotidianidad de la relación cuando le plantea a Ana la posibilidad de abrir la pareja. Esto desencadena una discusión en torno a esos deseos de experimentación, y se plantean la posibilidad de experimentar en el campo sexual, redescubriendo sus pasiones, miedos y realidades, como la infidelidad. Translation: "The Platypus" is a hilarious work about relationships in postmodern social networks.
