Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - There's always something going on at Act II STAGES. Cool Summer fun continues with Las Vegas-style cabaret shows, the best Karaoke Party in town and a series of concert by local bands; and the final touches are being put on the selection of shows that will be presented to Puerto Vallarta audiences next season.

This is always a fun time of the year for Act II Managing Partner, Danny Mininni, who has assembled an incredible team to help him this season. He commented that "Act II has never had a better team in place, with Corie DuChateau on Video production; Diego Lozano and Elizabeth Garza on Graphics and Website Design; Marsha Ward Ross as Staff Writer; Luis Olvera as Production Assistant; Pablo Corona as Marketing Director; and Laura Cazarez as Coordinator. I think we have the DREAM TEAM!"

Act II's Winter Entertainment Season is set to begin on Tuesday, October 29, and their full schedule of 2019/2020 shows will be announced soon. Many favorites are returning to Act II, but there will be lots of exciting new shows, as well! Next season's Main Stage shows are already in full rehearsal mode, and season tickets will become available in September.

Meanwhile, Act II is keeping Puerto Vallarta entertained with Bob's Karaoke Party, Us Two's 'ABBA & Elton' show, and their new Summer Concert Series, featuring a different local band every week!

ACT II'S SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Act II's Summer Concert Series has been a great boon to the summer entertainment that's available in Puerto Vallarta! Each year, Act II has used the summer season to promote some of the incredible talent of people that live here in the Banderas Bay area. As a result of this exposure, many have been given opportunities that otherwise might not been available to them, and have gone on to exciting, new careers!

Sal de Mar is a very popular, up-and-coming band that originated in Puerto Vallarta in 2016. This 9-member group of musicians features guitars, horns, saxophone, keyboard and drums. They have performed all around Mexico, have already produced one extended play record, and are working on their second one. Their laid-back, rhythmic music is featured on YouTube, Spotify, Instagram and Facebook, and represents the perfect permanent vacation lifestyle of Puerto Vallarta. Paco rompe la cotidianidad de la relación cuando le plantea a Ana la posibilidad de abrir la pareja. Esto desencadena una discusión en torno a esos deseos de experimentación, y se plantean la posibilidad de experimentar en el campo sexual, redescubriendo sus pasiones, miedos y realidades, como la infidelidad. Translation: "The Platypus" is a hilarious work about relationships in postmodern social networks.
