Puerto Vallarta Chefs Share Culinary Secrets PVNN
Puerto Vallarta - From September 19-23, for the first time ever, five of the best restaurants in Puerto Vallarta are getting together to bring gourmands an unique experience: the chance to learn their chefs' culinary secrets and techniques while participating in a hands-on cooking class at the CECATI Auditorium.
Thierry Blouet of Café des Artistes, Luis Fitch of Los Xitomates, Ulf Henriksson of Trío, Eusebio Cuevas of River Café and Claudio Marras of La Palapa, will each spend a day cooking side-by-side with the fortunate few who participate in the first Diplomado Culinario Canirac cooking program.
Each of the chefs will select an easy to prepare three-course menu giving participants not only the opportunity to learn how to prepare these gourmet meals, but also to discover each chef's secrets and cooking techniques. And as part of the package, each participating "guest chef" will receive an apron, chef's hat, knife and a recipe book.
At the end of each day, participants may invite a guest to sit down with them and enjoy their culinary creations accompanied by national wines to compliment each course. At the end of the five-day course, guest chefs will receive a "diploma" [a certificate of participation], endorsed by each of the celebrity chefs.
Participating in this special event will give you the unique opportunity to see Puerto Vallarta's top culinary experts in action, cook alongside some of our city's best chefs and learn to prepare gastronomic delights that are normally only served at five of the most prestigious restaurants in Puerto Vallarta.
This special cooking course will be held September 19th-23rd in the kitchen facilities at the CECATI Auditorium in downtown Puerto Vallarta from 11 am-2:30 pm. The menu tastings will follow immediately afterward in the auditorium's dining room. With the price set at only $3,500 pesos per person, this is an event you don't want to miss!
