Participating restaurants included Los Xitomates, Café des Artistes, Trio Restaurant Bar & Café, Bianco Lounge & Restaurant, Kaiser Maximilian Restaurant and Café, La Palapa Restaurant and the CasaMagna Marriott.
Puerto Vallarta - Three local charities were given 54,000 pesos each, proceeds from the Culinary Jam Sunday at the CasaMagna Marriott. The 250-300 people in attendance enjoyed the finest of foods from Puerto Vallarta's best chefs and restaurants, and the background music was most entertaining, but the real winners were the charities which received all the proceeds form the event.

Agape, a shelter for abused children, Arturo Los Hijos De Dios, an organization that provides aid for individuals and families in critical need, and Becas Vallarta, who assists young Vallartans with scholarships to continue their education were the real winners.

Also announced that a fourth charitable organization, Asilo De Ancianos San Juan Diego, who provides shelter for elderly people, will join next year as a recipient from the event. Extra money was also raised through raffle sales during the fine dinner that all guests enjoyed.

Participating restaurants included Los Xitomates, Café des Artistes, Trio Restaurant Bar & Café, Bianco Lounge & Restaurant, Kaiser Maximilian Restaurant and Café, La Palapa Restaurant and the CasaMagna Marriott. The festival was the brainchild of Luis Fitch, owner of Los Xitomates and he promised a bigger and better event for next year.

A variety of music performed by Vallarta's popular musicians enhanced the atmosphere. All performers donated their time and talents to assist in the fundraising efforts. Kudos to the CasaMagna Marriott for hosting the event and in assisting those in need.
