First Annual Race for La Casa Comunidad

Nuevo Vallarta - Casa Comunidad, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and adults develop the necessary skills to be successful, positive contributors to our multi-cultural, bilingual community, will be holding the first annual Carrera por la Casa Comunidad on Sunday October 23rd.
Help us raise funds for this worthy cause by participating in the ast Annual K Run/2.5 km Walk for Carrera por la Casa Comunidad on Sunday October 23rd. The fun starts at 9:00 am inside the north gate of El Tigre Golf Course in Nuevo Vallarta with a 5 km "Fun Run," followed by a 2.5 km "Friends and Family Walk" at 10 am.
Event organizers are asking each participant to solicit friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and acquaintances as sponsors to help support La Casa Comunidad. They'd like to see each runner raise a minimum of $100 pesos in donations, but every little bit helps!
All donations should be turned in at the El Tigre Golf Course Athletic Center when you register for the race on Sunday. Those who raise over $200 pesos will be given T-shirts, and top fund raisers will receive prizes.
 When:
• 5 km Fun Run - 9:30 am on Sunday October 23rd (Please check in by 9 am)
• Friends and Family Walk - 10:30 am on Sunday October 23rd (Please check in by 10 am)
Strollers and roller blades are welcome for the Friends and Family Walk.
Where:
Race will be held inside the north gate of El Tigre Golf Course in Nuevo Vallarta. The organizers ask that all participants please park outside the north gate and meet at the Athletic Center.
Entry Fees:
• Fun Run - $100 pesos
• Both events - $200 pesos
Registration Dates and Locations:
• El Tigre Athletic Club - from 7 am to 7 pm on Thursday Oct. 20th, Friday Oct 21st, Saturday Oct 22nd, and on Sunday Oct 23rd before the race.
• Colegio Americano - from 2:30 to 4 pm on Wednesday Oct 19th, Thursday Oct 20th, and Friday Oct 21st.
Come out with friends and family and join the fun . . . all for a worthy cause!
