Each year from October to April, J World San Francisco will make Puerto Vallarta their wintertime operations base.
Puerto Vallarta - For over 15 years, J World, the Performance Sailing School, has been selected as the top sailing school in America - and now they are offering comprehensive sailing lessons in Nuevo Vallarta.

Each year from October to April, J World San Francisco will make Puerto Vallarta their wintertime operations base. "Puerto Vallarta has long been a favorite haven for sailors and the sailing is purely outstanding," says Wayne Zittel, director of the new J/World Performance Sailing School in Nuevo Vallarta.

Since 1981, J World San Francisco has put their expertise and knowledge to work teaching thousands of sailors from around the world how to sail, and how to be better sailors. From first time mariners to seasoned salts, they have programs designed to challenge and educate you.

Whether you want to learn how to sail, are looking to improve your sailboat racing skills, or you intend to head off on coastal or offshore cruising adventures, this US Sailing-certified instructional organization teaches all levels, from beginners to advanced racing and offshore cruising.

Based in the beautiful Paradise Village Resort and Spa and sailing out of the Nuevo Vallarta Marina, J World offers all of their standard curriculum, along with racing instruction, cruising opportunities and a great selection of exciting special events.

According to Zittel, the primary trainers in Puerto Vallarta are a fleet of modern 26-foot J/80s that are "responsive, fast, comfortable and safe, and provide sailors with immediate feedback to sharpen their skills." For additional information see www.sailing-jworld.com.
