Teeing Off for Toys For Tots Peter Gray - PVNN
Puerto Vallarta - The holiday spirit was in full swing at Vista Vallarta Golf on Saturday, December 17th, as over 90 golfers teed off for the seventh annual Puerto Vallarta Toys for Tots Golf Tournament.
This year's golf tournament took place at the Vista Vallarta Tom Weiskopf course, with players from all over Mexico, Canada, and the United States sending a message of love to no less than thirty-three children in the Banderas Bay area.
Generosity, they say, brings its own reward. In this case, the rewards were immediate. For the golfers, there was all the fun of playing golf on the picturesque Tom Weiskopf Course at Vista Vallarta, plus the joy of knowing that the funds raised by the tournament will purchase toys for local children who would otherwise not receive a Christmas gift.
The now traditional and ever-popular Toys for Tots Golf Tournament Vallarta raises funds to purchase toys that will be distributed to less fortunate children in the Banderas Bay area on January 6th, "Three Kings Day," the traditional day for gift-giving in Mexico.

Toys for Tots is sponsored by the Navy League, CasaMagna Marriott, Vista Vallarta Golf Club, Continental Airlines, Coldwell Banker Real Estate, Intenational Friendship Club, TaylorMade/Adidas and U.S. consular Agent Kelly Trainor and close to a hundred other local sponsors. |
