Puerto Vallarta - Once again, international tourist industry experts have recognized the Puerto Vallarta Casamagna Marriott Resort for meeting high quality standards.
In January 2006, the resort was once again presented with the Distinctive H award - despite a surprise visit to its installations. This special award program is based on inspection of hygiene and health in food and beverage handling in a program instituted by the World Health Organization (WHO), in operation in Mexico since 1988.
In 2005, CasaMagna Marriott was awarded 14 certifications, covering all of the hotel's food and beverage areas, including: Las Casitas Restaurant & Bar, Champions Bar & Restaurant, Mikado Restaurant & Bar, La Estancia Restaurant & Bar, La Isla Bar, the Lobby Bar, Los Mangos Deli, Room Service, the employees-only restaurant Oasis, and the hotel's main kitchen and bakery.
It's also worth mentioning that CasaMagna Marriott was the first hotel in Puerto Vallarta to receive the Distinctive H Award in 2006, the resort has received more of these awards over the years than any other hotel in Puerto Vallarta, and Mikado Restaurant is the only Japanese food restaurant in the entire state of Jalisco that has ever received the "Distintivo H" award.
