Local Kids Soccer Teams Score Big PVNN
On Wednesday, April 19th, seven local kids' soccer teams and their coaches traveled from all over the Banderas Bay area to the Sports Stadium in Puerto Vallarta where they received more than $50,000 pesos worth of new soccer uniforms, balls and other equipment donated by a few soccer fanatics from California.
Thanks to the generosity of Leigh Kirmsee of the Mount Diablo Soccer Association in Concord and Steve Price, the owner of Soccer Magic in Walnut Creek, some of the young soccer players in Puerto Vallarta who have never before owned uniforms are enjoying new sports equipment.
Banderas News video journalist, Laura Gelezunas, was on hand to share in the joy and love at the presentation ceremony, and her video gives us a peek of the kids scoring big, strutting their stuff and having a ball at the Puerto Vallarta Sports Stadium. Click HERE for photos and more info. |
